Frequently Asked Questions

About Therapy and Coaching

Q: What’s the difference between counseling and coaching?
A: Counseling focuses on mental health and emotional healing, often exploring past experiences and patterns. Coaching is future-focused and designed to help you clarify goals, build strategy, and take action. I offer both, depending on your needs.

Q: How do I know which service is right for me?
A: We’ll talk through it during your consultation. If you're navigating stress, trauma, or mental health challenges, counseling might be the best fit. If you're feeling stuck, seeking clarity, or trying to grow professionally or personally, coaching could be ideal.

Booking + Sessions

Q: How do I book a session?
A: Visit the “Work With Me” page to book your free consultation. You’ll choose between therapy, coaching, or consulting based on your needs.

Q: Do you offer virtual sessions?
A: Yes. All counseling and coaching sessions are currently held via secure video platform for your convenience and comfort.

Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: I am an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly in most cases. However, I can provide a superbill if you’d like to seek reimbursement through your plan. I do accept some insurance providers in Wisconsin. Click here to which ones I currently accept.

About the Journal(s)

Q: What can I expect from your wellness journal?
A: These are not your average guided journals. Each one is created with intention, integrating tools from therapy, coaching, and lived wisdom. You’ll find reflection prompts, mindfulness exercises, and space to process and grow.

Q: When will the journal be available?
A: The first edition is coming soon. Join the mailing list for updates and launch announcements.
